Modern Day XIV AU - For those I chat to on Discord, yes, this is Cat Trap.
FFXIV but modern day - magic is pretty restricted and requires a license to use, and magic is not as common as aether is not as abundant. Here everyone has some sort of mundane job in this mundane world. In this iteration Monx is the head librarian for the local library, where she sells black market items and services (black magic) out the back. She is still a researcher and publishes on magical topics.
This one is pretty open ended to mess around with. :)
Save Our Earth AU - Premise
Since Monx was in Save Our Earth, I'll include an SoE bit here! Here is her original application! Here's her original information page, too!
This is very open to whatever level of Chihiro/Monx you want to interact with! If you want to plurk me or something so we can get some of the details out beforehand, that works too - I didn't have Chi as strictly structured as Taka since, you know, Monx doesn't eat people.
